Otinova is an over-the-counter product and an astringent, antibacterial and antifungal solution that does not contain antibiotics or steroids. Otinova can therefore often be used instead of prescription ear preparations for the treatment of ear canal inflammation.
An ear wick with alsol solution/alcohol is sometimes used for ear canal inflammation. Otinova is often perceived as easier to use with its spray bottle and anatomically designed nozzle.
